I've been programming, theoretically, since 6-7th grade. About two years ago I started working with AS and I fell in love with how much freedom it gave me compared to Well of Soul's world making engine.
I'm going to start a lab soon using webspace a friend let me have. I always wanted one of those, although mine would be completely lackluster.
Here is my first journal. Hope it comes out decent...
These past 2 weeks I have been traveling to two different areas. I live in Ohio, and I've been to Georgia and St Loius. And in a little while, I'll be leaving for New Jersey. It's invigorating and fun to travel, but the over doing of anything can be exhausting.
I should get into why I made the trips. I'll start with the first trip, the drive to Georgia. My sister was graduating from college , so we went to her graduation. Me, my two brothers and mother drove down to Georgia in our minivan (with broken air conditioning), which was filled with clothes and junk food for our trip. Now let me say something. Being cramped inside a car with 3 black men and no air is a bad thing. A bad thing indeed.
It was horrible in that van. So horrible I don't even want to speak of it. Moving toward the equator in a vehicle without the comfort of an air conditioner isn't something Christopher Columbus himself would do. My seat was covered in man-sweat by the time we got there, and the cooler wasn't cooling anything anymore.
We got to Georgia and I saw a majority of my family. We were talking and having a good time and more and more people came to my cousins house for the graduation, one of the people being my father.
At about this time, my cousins baby had woke, and me being the baby lover I am, tried to pick her up. The baby started screaming and crying the second I picked her up. She hit on me, and then turned to her mother and held one arm out to her, the other arm was jabbed in my face to keep me away from her.
I learned the baby didn't seem to like men at this point, and that I should avoid her.
The next day we went to the graduation. My family, being the hungry people they are, asked me to go to the vending machines and get them some stuff. Food and drink were not allowed in the auditorium, so I had to sneak it in. There were about 11 people asking for things, and my pockets are only so big. I have shove things in my shirt, in my wallet, in my pants and places elsewhere to get all the things people asked for in legally. I swear, I must've been Mary Poppins or something when I go in the auditorium again. I pulled pieces of candy out of every crevice of my body.
After the graduation, we all went to Atlantic Station and got some food from the Cheesecake Bistro. I had some Asian style chicken laid over white rice, with veggies on top. It was a wonderful meal, we at, got sleepy, went home, and slept.
The next day we had a tearful goodbye and went back on our way away from the equator, with the trip, thankfully, being less sweaty then the trip Georgia.
Tommorrow we can talk about my trip to St.Louis, which was one of the best experiences of my life.
